About Relaxation Unlimited

Relaxation Unlimited, in Alexandria Northern Virginia, was formed in 2005 by uniting two existing massage therapy practices. Equilibrium BodyWorks, owned by Jessie Savage, and Luna Massage Therapy, owned by Erica Petrilli. We decided to combine our businesses to both better serve our Virginia clients and spend quality time with our families.

We believe good health and stress management require enjoying your whole life and committing fully to the things that are important. We strive to help our clients achieve this also, by having evening and Saturday hours available, and by offering a variety of massage treatments and services.

Family is important to us so we offer pre natal massage and infant massage training to new parents. Rebecca Munroe teaches our infant massage courses, she’s a mom and has had experience with a preemie of her own, so she has a strong personal understanding of some of the trials of parenthood. Most of our massage therapists are trained in pre and post natal massage. Diane Benfield is our most experienced therapist with over 20 years in practice. Her deep tissue massage is penetrating and effective. Diane also does wonderful energy work and has broad knowledge of alternative health. Both Erica and Jessie do Swedish and deep tissue as well, but Erica’s real passion is gerontology. She is sensitive to the needs of our older clients and truly loves working with them. Jessie is also a Pilates instructor and works well with an active population, but enjoys all people and is comfortable with all body types. We have a massage therapist who can include a custom yoga session for you as a one time stretch or on a regular basis. We also practice aroma therapy and use Young Living essential oils.

Our goal as a collective is to facilitate our clients in finding the treatment that is best for them. We encourage people to experience the different work styles we have here at Relaxation Unlimited and hope to see you in the office soon. Because we like to put our clients with the therapist we think would best serve their needs and schedules we are available by appointment only. We share space with an acupuncturist to even further serve your needs. We are located in Old Town, Alexandria near the Potomac river, good restaurants and excellent shopping.
